CHANGES OF CONFERENCE PROGRAM

In the event of cancellations by speakers or other changes in the main conference program, no full or partial refund of the registration fee can be made.

  

INSURANCE

The organisers cannot be held responsible for accidents to Conference registrants or damage/loss of their pesonal property. Registrants should therefore make their own insurance arrangements.

 

LANGUAGE

All presentations during the Conference will be conducted in English, the official language of the ECOC. There will be no translation provided.

 

LIABILITY

The ECOC 2015 conference and/or its agents have the right for any reason beyonds their control to alter or cancel, without prior notice, the conference or any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating directly or indirectly to ECOC 2015.

The ECOC 2015 conference and/or its agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expenditure or inconvenience cause as a result of such alteration or cancellation.

 

MEDIA POLICY

Recording, photography and filming during the sessions is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from an ECOC Officer.

 

MOBILE PHONES

Mobile phones must be switched off during all sessions.

SMOKING POLICY

Smoking is prohibited inside the congress centre and the exhibition areas.

 

TRADE EXHIBITION

A large exhibition area will be available, providing ample opportunities for companies to present their products, technologies and services.

PASSPORT & VISA

Spain is a member of the European Union and belongs to the Schengen area.

Please note that all travellers, except for those exempt from visa requirement, should apply for the corresponding visa at the local Spanish Diplomatic or Consular Offices before their arrival.

People in possession of a valid residence permit or a valid long-term visa issued by another Member State, should check the validity of their visa in order to avoid any inconvenience.

 

If an entry visa is required, please allow sufficient time for this procedure:

- Submit your visa application in person and two months before you travel to Spain in order to avoid any inconvenience.

- The process may take longer in certain countries, so we recommend that you contact the nearest Spanish Diplomatic or Consular Offices to determine your personal case.

WEATHER

The Valencia climate is mainly Mediterranean with warm and dry summers as well as mild winters. The rainy season for Valencia is mainly in spring and autumn. Valencia weather temperatures are pleasant year-round with an average day temperature not falling below 15 ºC, with the exception of mountainous areas where they can fall below freezing.
